You are so brave! I was uni over Covid and at one point during one of the video lectures (so painful to sit through) it was getting to the end and tell my why I saw one of my course mates hitting a BONG ππ
my friends have been skipping their classes recently but why would i not want to learn as much as i can in this lifetime. i love knowledge and learning new things about the world isn't it just fascinating? (and also love making the most of the money I'm giving to this goddamn university)
Iβve been falling off academically for the past month and itβs biting me in the butt, but goddamn do I feel alive after annotating for four hours and then studying for three hours and going to bed at 3 with an exam at 9am. is it foolish? Certainly, but itβll make college something to remember.
Im aslo in my senior year and its definitely been a wild ride. Though most if that ride was me being an overachiever and burning out midway and having to learn its okay to take it slow I don't have to achieve everything so early on.
I lucked out and was able to get an off campus apartment and not have to stay in the dorms my entire time at school, so that saved me a lot of money and really allowed me to, I think enjoy college more because i was able to do my own thing and have my own space.
I've made a lot of new friends in the last few years and some friendships I think are going to live past the convenience of being in college and same department.
I think over all it was a rough start but by the end of it here overall it was worth it and I've had a great time!
