Sure I can go for a scoop of a more fun and wacky flavor every once in a while but vanilla truly is the king of all flavors, infinitely versatile and used as a supporting character elsewhere yet flavorful by itself on its own merits. Not news to the real ball knowers. What a shame it’s used as a synonym for boring and bland.
