I think Iāve finally accepted that I am, in fact, a āhat guy.ā I always wear a baseball cap in the summer and a beanie in the winter - though my summer collection is a lot better imo. I wore the one with the bee on in through all of high school/ most of college, the broken record one for most of grad school (that used to be pure white lol) and recently Iāve been rotating between the āValentines Day is Stupidā and the Brooklyn Museum ones
It started when I got self-conscious about my thinning mop, but now itās a āthingā and I like it. Generally I wear a striped Breton (gnome-y) beanie, but I have a collection of cowboy hats Iāve picked up in Texas on road trips over the years that Iāll wear to the beach. I hate suncream so itās good to keep the face in the shade. I bought my godchildren baby-sized striped beanies so we can match.
