if you want to find "top music asks of the month," "random movie recs," or "top ask replies of the week...u can now do that and u can even do it on user profiles if you want to see your top recs of all time, etc coming to mobile later today or tomorrow
there's a new "explore" style page with asks from your friends, rec with links to check out, recs & asks that are hot with your friends, people you may know, and more ... there's also a new sidebar on the app home screen that cleans things up a bit and makes it easier to get to drafts, saved + likes recs, your invites, top music/movie/book recs, and more update your app to see it
GUYS please use my feature and tell me what you think!!! PI.FYI/SUGGEST & the reel we made to promote it lol you can search the entire archive at once and then Rec someone as a guest (!!!) if they haven't been on already! and all the old features open in-app and should be themed and look gorgeous, and you can literally go in and like/re-rec old recs from features. go find your fave and re-rec them!! love you guys
tomorrow PI.FYI launches to the public this project is the result of thousands of hours spent coding everything from scratch after I got laid off six months ago no thiel-bucks or weirdo outsider money, just a pure desire to make something fun and true to Perfectly Imperfect’s day one goal of helping people find new things from real human beings, not algorithms or AI a pure labor of love that I’ve been quietly plotting for two years and it’s completely self-funded from my (rapidly) dwindling savings account so thank you for coming along for this weird ride 🫶 let's see where it goes
