I run pretty regularly between May and November. I started again recently because the weather allowed it.
My relationship with exercise is strange. I used to go to the gym for years, but I never was as consistent as I am with running. It’s so practical and, while shoes can be pricey, I really feel like I don’t have an excuse to miss any runs.
I also have an office job. I like it, but there’s something so rewarding and almost primitively enjoyable about running before or after a work day.
I personally find that putting on a track suit, plugging in those wired earbuds, and doing sprint intervals around a neighborhood to be so freeing. When I was done I found a big patch of grass and laid flat on my back and spread out my arms and legs. Also doubles as a screen time reduction hack which I always need
Breaking into a full sprint feels really good sometimes. Usually, I reserve it for moments when I need to get somewhere quickly and never at the cost of others' safety on the sidewalk. But every once in a while, I can't help myself—I just wanna run! Easy way to make life feel cinematic. Looks insane.
Python!
Honestly very hard for me to get into - I have ZERO coding knowledge and nothing I could really latch onto - knowledge transfer is how I learn. But https://futurecoder.io/ is great (after lots of Redditing)
The puffin is the latest addition to more than 180 known species—many of them sharks, corals, and other marine animals—that emit a luminous glow.
The fact that so many marine animals biofluoresce "tells us organisms are using light in ways we don't even see," John Sparks, curator of fishes at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
