I took two of my best friends out to a screening of one of my favorite movies: “Vive L’amour” directed by Tsai Ming-liang and starring Lee Kang-sheng. It was my 28th birthday and both the director and star had traveled from Taiwan earlier that day to be there for a Q&A. I hesitantly got to ask the director a question:”What was your favorite movie when you we’re young?” Although they spoke little English he responded directly to me and said: “Many, many.” It was shown at the Aero in Santa Monica. I had the time of my life.

One of the most impossibly beautiful films of all time, getting rereleased, with an accompanying short! If you get the opportunity to catch this, you totally should - Wong Kar Wai on a big screen is not something to miss!

I don't think I can put into words how much I enjoy Wong Kar Wai’s filmography. Thanks god I live in a time where I can watch it for free.
My favorite is "In the Mood for Love." I've never seen such intimacy without any physical interactions. By physical interactions, I mean kissing or anything more. The main characters' relationship is pure affection. From the moment they meet, there's a spark between them.
for example, it seems to me that it is no coincidence that they move into the same apartment on the same day. their rooms are next to each other. their belongings are moved at the same time, and they even get mixed up with each other. for example, one of them ends up with the new neighbor's records. they are going through similar difficulties in their relationships with their partners.
at the same time, they are not shy about expressing their feelings while being married. it is not often that you can see such a thing. it is a very beautiful movie and an impeccable love story. The characters are insanely beautiful, the sets are stunning, and I'm not even mentioning the main character's dresses.

Fleetwood Mac’s main man’s 2nd solo album is fire. The single is legendary. It is also “Zolo“, a rare trait. Produced by Gordon Fordyce.
