weird likkle songs ive been listening to as of late

Tbh I’m coming out of a pretty depressing month, working a lot cuz im gonna be living alone for a bit—roomate who was the worst is finally leaving This is what kept me sane while working doubles and watching the world pass: Where I end and You Begin - Radiohead (miserable, love the part about watching but not taking part, the effects of burnout let alone its haunting promise of nature eventually taking its land back) 21 - Cranberries (I’m 21, learning that there will be lots I won’t get at least soon and that okay and I live in the context of all that which came before me) Biscuit Town, Dumsurfer, It’s All Soup Now, Seaforth - King Krule (He’s hot, miserable stuff, very hopeless but its the company that makes it easier) The Flag is Raised - Bladee, Ecco2k (Mf drain gang, very cerebral, spunky) The Most Wanted Person - 100 gecs (Huge gecs fan they are always on rotation for me, currently over here checking all the windows and blinds) Persephone - Cocteau Twins (been listening to them a lot recently, love the witchy vengeful sound of it) One of These Days - Bedouine (love her, its the little bit of hope we have to cling to right?)

some of these are probs repeats of what other people have said or what u alr listen to! indigo de Souza (personal fave songs: how I get myself killed, darker than death, 17) Adrianne lenker (both big thief and solo stuff, fave songs: zombie girl, steamboat) Samia (fave songs: something in the movies, kill her freak out) fka twigs (not really rock but I’m getting carried away. sadness of her discog varies. magdalene is an important album to who I am. fave sad songs are water me and home with you) skullcrusher (whatever fits together is one of my favorite songs ever) mitski (bury me at makeout creek is perfect to me) the album songs to break up to by ta-ku is more electronica than indie but it saw me thru some bullshit in the 2010s. snail mail (my fave song is speaking terms) the national is music for sad dads but theres some strong overlap there i think (fave songs: i need my girl, blood buzz Ohio, dark side of the gym) ok im sorry this is so long!! I love sad music!!

Christine and the Queens - People, I've been Sad Frank Ocean - There will be tears King Krule - Lonely Blue Kanye West - Say You Will Kid Cudi - Teleport 2 Me, Jamie Bon Iver - Woods Beach House - Master of None Joy Division - Disorder Paramore - Fake Happy ROSALIA - Dolerme The Smiths - Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now Aphex Twin - #3 Gorillaz - On Melancholy Hill A.G.Cook - Being Harsh Nirvana - Something in the Way some of these songs touch on being sad, but for the most part, they just embody what sadness feels like to me.
