took a spontaneous trip to see the new alien movie today
ive never been to see a horror movie alone at the cinema before so it felt all the more immersive for me, would recommend going to get scared alone even if you’re a scaredy-cat like me :)

Saw a double feature of "Trap" and "Deadpool & Wolverine" one night by myself. Not the greatest flicks in the world, but had a great time out alone!

i’m sure this has been rec’d a million times, but i went the cinema alone for the first time today and it certainly won’t be the last.

going to the cinema alone

i find it to be a very zen experience. sure, going with friends is fun too, but being able to completely immerse yourself in a film without thinking about the people you’re with is just life changing. for me anyway. this rule does not apply to horror movies. too much of a scaredy cat for that.

going to the movies on your own

i know this isn’t a new concept but i went to the movies on my own for the first time today (i saw “civil war”) and i genuinely enjoyed it :D you get to take your time getting ready and when to show up at the theater and you can get your own popcorn… a very fun movie experience (especially if the theater is mostly empty :D)
