Went for their tea service unsure if it was legit or just fodder for instagram and it did not disappoint! From the crazy viral bathroom to the all girl string quartet to the dining room that feels like you’re in a museum, we had a great time. And the food was very good and you get a lot (plus they’ll let you reorder anything you want more of). Still thinking about their curry chicken salad.
great drinks, the staff are so so nice and there's usually an exhibition on downstairs. also it's in quite a pedestrianised area which is rare for london! so you can sit out the front like you do in continental europe
I was visiting Cambridge and stopped in with a coworker on a free day. Virginia Wolf and Wittgenstein had tea here along with many others and after lunch you can enjoy a walk along the river on public lands in the English countryside complete with multiple kissing gates 10/10
I usually just make myself drip coffee or a single cup of tea during the week but I’ve got a little time so why not make a whole tea service just for me
