upbeat, fun, and not my usual rock/alternative beat

This was the most pleasant surprise of 2023. PCRC is one of the most fun, interesting, and…unique(?) mixes of sound coming from one band. From their own bio, they describe their music as ranging “…from gypsy jazz to psychedelic cabaret; ballroom waltzes to epic space disco; bossa supernova to uneasy listening.” Truly an experience.
Memory Box is still my fav song. Def feel the gypsy jazz in this song. It makes you want to dance. It also runs for 8 minutes because PCRC isn’t afraid of letting a song go longggggggg baby. Also the vocalist sounds a lot like Sameer from Young the Giant in case you need a comparison.
Go vibe on this lovely Friday. Maybe play this song and dance a little.
it’s so beautiful and intimate. depending on ur mood, it can make you happy, concentrated, or somber. I do not ever cry, but this has been the only song to ever make me do so. It's my favorite song ever.
Books are kind of hard for me because of my ADHD, so short forms of writing are much easier for me to pay attention to (like recommendations and poetry)
