i have never felt such simultaneous dread and awe. i will forever be in love with everything about this movie; a pace thats frenzying and cathartic, cinematography+directing inspired by italian neorealism, and performances that defy explanation.
fundamental theater experience for my taste maturation and sparked my love for independent cinema exhibition.

iโve seen this movie twice now, and although some scenes are awfully hard to watch, the camerawork and symbolism is amazing. itโs masterfully written with both high intensity and comedic moments. if you can handle blood and guts and body horror vfx, you need to watch this film. i would say that the first watch felt very long, but watching it again definitely gave me another perspective.
