I don’t mind it at all, I’ll happily still enjoy the sun and lay out/jump in the lake a few more times before I can’t. Fall will be here soon anyway, no rush. Until then I will enjoy the hell out of it, it’s house money.
It’s the middle of summer. It’s hot as fuck. I have a little bit of a tan (but mostly I’m red) and I spend every second I can in a body of water, natural or otherwise. Watermelon, cold beer, endless sunlight, tank tops, relentless heat, and everyday optimism.
I am enjoying the last days of summer, went to the lake today for a swim for maybe one of the last times for a year! Reflecting on a busy summer and thinking ahead what‘s in store for the fall, what I want to do, go, cook etc- grilling will be out, stews and soups in.
I don’t believe in ranking things- restaurants, albums, books, movies, athletes anything, top x lists whatever. I think it’s a waste of time honestly. Even with a completely objective criterion what’s the point. Would rather listen to and read people just talk about their favorite things and why they are special and meaningful to them- everyone has their own, interesting reasons. And this is a great place to do that!
