totally forgot this one but the whole song is one side of a phone call between someone on earth and someone on mars. it’s got some cool retro futurism because the main character has to have an operator connect them, but the data transmission gets interrupted! honestly kind of neat way to frame a narrative.
The whole album feels like a voyage, explores diferrent rhythms and laguagens but feels very cohesive. Laetitia Sadier vocals sound beautiful and light and alongside the experimental melodies.
Highlight to the single ping-pong with it's upbeat energy but grave lyrics.
