absolutely fantastic watch. is this the inspo to Inception, a movie I do not like? I can't remember. anyway, i recommend watching with a group. it will throw you through a loop, sober or not!! some serious movie magic at work here and only 90 mins!
This movie took me a little bit to get into, but Iโm chalking that up to its less than ideal English dub, therefore I suggest you watch it in the original Japanese version with subtitles. Very visually beautiful movie with a very creative concept, itโs made by the same creators of Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers just so you know what to expect.ย
TBH, this is kind of a strange movie. I enjoyed it nonetheless!! Synopsis: The film is set in a near-future world where a revolutionary device called the DC Mini allows therapists to enter patients' dreams for treatment purposes.
The story follows Dr. Atsuko Chiba, a psychotherapist who uses the illegal persona "Paprika" to conduct unauthorized dream therapy. When several DC Mini devices are stolen, dreams and reality begin to merge chaotically as the stolen technology is used to invade and manipulate people's subconscious minds.
