i’ve been trying to replace all of my uniqlo socks [which are great but all have holes now] & i saw derek guy had mentioned the american trench supermerino socks in this article about fall clothes
i don’t have any in the supermerino yet but i got a couple of the cotton crew socks to try out & loved them so much i bought 4 more the next week , they have lots of fun saturated colours as well as classics & a lovely natural undyed pair as well
super comfy and i love being able to match socks & upper layers & having a little pop of colour peaking out of my mary janes when i’m wandering around the city :-)
They’re very good for everyday wear, though I’m now a fan of Darn Tough for trail running. Perhaps a bit biased because my sister worked there and I have so many free pairs, but my whole family have continued to purchase for years after her layoff, so I think that says something.
it’s the perfect length for me to watch after work , i can start a movie at 11 or even 12 & get to bed at the (mostly) reasonable hour of 1:30 at the latest . sometimes i will extend this to 100 or 110 min if i‘m feeling indulgent or ambitious . i could watch an hour of tv but this gives me a whole story in only a little bit more time .
