Or any Audio Technica turntable really. My previous turntable was a gifted suitcase Crosley and it gave me a bad impression when playing vinyl. It would pop and skip frequently whenever the bass was too heavy for the player to handle. The tracks sometimes played in the wrong tempo also. It was seemingly damaging my vinyl and really put me off from using for the longest time. With the Audio Technica, all these issues disappeared. It's reliable and easy to find.
not vintage but a great entry level/budget conscious turntable. affordable, got bluetooth compatibility so you donโt need to get a nice stereo setup, and surprisingly durable - mine has lasted 10 years now and 4 state-to-state moves. new ones are much nicer than mine too. ignore the galaxy print slipmat I got it when I was 15
At the height of my angst and a time where I wanted to escape via music so badly lol. This record did just that for me and listened to it through and through. I have โThe O.C.โ to thank for introducing me to Modest Mouse.
