This fascinating documentary made in 2012 tells the story behind Michael Vinerās Incredible Bongo Band recording the Album āBongo Rockā at Can-Base Studios (Later known as Mushroom Studios) in Vancouver, BC Canada! āBongo Rockā released in 1973, became kinda like the foundation of hip hop as DJs in the Bronx such as Kool Herc ended up sampling a song from it called āApacheā, in turn exposing it to Jay Z, Nas, Sugarhill Gang and many more.
