Just copped a grail for an INSANE low price the other day and I couldn’t help it I had to see if I could get a lower price. Idk if it’s something wrong with me but I turn into a disgusting lil creature when I get the chance to haggle. I be moving and shaking, makes me feel like I’m negotiating some huge business deal.
if the Spanish language got one thing right, it’s inverted question/exclamation marks. ¡They are perfect and tell you what to expect from a sentence! I think all languages should adopt them.
I need to take my own advice… I will often meet people and the lovely things about them stick out to me — be it their laugh, the way they wear their hair, maybe a particular piece of clothing — and I really want to compliment them but the words are like peanut butter in my mouth and I can’t spit it out! I mean every now and again I remember a compliment I’ve gotten and am all 🤭 over it. I need to put that good energy back into the world!!!
