Issey Miyake's sports + americana streetwear line from the late 1970s-1990s. I bought a short sleeve mockneck and a members only-inspired jacket last spring, both of which quickly found places in my summer wardrobe rotation. Most of the pieces work well sized up for an oversized fit, and many include a fun phrase printed on the garment alongside the logo. My two favorites so far are "It is fine to set yourself into a comfortable way of life," and "You will never convince me that there is more to life than sunny days."

For that MiUSA trad-coded heat. You can also find some sick long sleeve patagonia ones from the late 90s on eBay for cheap.

Throughout the 90’s, Gap made a masterpiece of a pocket t-shirt. The ideal medium weight, soft 100% cotton, short boxy fit and made in a seemingly endless array of recessive colors that I’m sure brands are still showing to their dye houses as reference today. It’s perfect to me and the only blank t-shirt I wear - my collection probably hovers around 2 dozen right now. If the descriptors above sound appealing to you, I would suggest you seek some out. I’d tell you to come buy them from me but I hoard every one I get so you’ll have to go out and scavenge yourself.

I have a few rules for cozy hoodie season. No drawstrings, big hood, and a waistband that isn’t suffocating me. A little oversized is a bonus, but not a deal breaker. On the lighter side, my go-to has always been Ksubi’s Seeing Lines hoodie. Fits the requirements, and fits like a glove.
