Usually I have two monitors on this preposterously small standing desk (thatās always in the down position), but Iāve decided to finally start experimenting with the sewing machine Iāve owned for 10 months and never once used. In an ideal world, this would be two separate surfaces - and not directly next to my bed - but thatās Manhattan for ya!
10+ year old apple monitors and my laptop, mostly used when producing otherwise iām on the couch with just my laptop for most things I gotta do. the little table with the synths on the right is an old sewing machine table with wheels on it I got at an antique store for cheap, it has collapsable extensions on each side very helpful for decluttering my main desk space
My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebodyābe it a relative or one of my best friendsāwas to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too š
