I worked in coffee for many years and I don’t really want to drink it ever again!
Drinking tea has saved me time, eliminated mess, and I feel less burnt out at the end of the day. Having a cup of tea before an event makes me feel a little euphoric. I like to start the morning with a dark oolong, then have a lemonbalm/mint/tulsi, sometimes I’ll have an oceanic green in the evening. I really like a dried fruit tea with rosehips, hibiscus, and lemon peel.
A nightly cup of decaf black tea with sugar. Earl Grey, Constant Comment, or really any black tea is so cozy and warm. I started drinking it as a habit replacement for a nightcap during dry January, but now it‘s just a regular part of my nighttime wind down.
any time of day, mostly at night. whatever ails me, i research herbs that will heal me and i make tea from them. i also find that i crave coffee less. it's been very therapeutic. not just the tea itself, but also little things like going shopping for teacups and reading about what nature provides us for healing <3
i've been seeing tiktoks of people asking their friends to pick them up from the airport/help moving and no one agrees. honestly what kind of a friend are you if you only care about doing fun stuff together and disappearing in the time of need. and honestly same goes for ignoring stuff in public like you see a woman carrying heavy bags and you just walk by? or when people don't offer their seats in transport for the elderly or sick? very strange to me. be kind to others personal boundaries are overrated
