My favorite RSS app (iO/macOS), and where I apply most of my daily taps and clicks. V2.0 just released which adds lots of other connectors to your aggregate list!
The app I use to follow blogs. But you can follow anything with an RSS feed with it: substacks, news websites, twitter feeds, youtube chanels, etc. You can even import from your favorite read-it-later service (like Instapaper or Pocket). And it's beautifully designed by developer of the Mela recipe app. Everything I want to read in one place. Unfortunately, it's iOS only. Does anyone have good recs for Android RSS reader apps?
I was a rather die-hard anti RSS internet guy for quite some time. I wanted to soak in the design of the site - likely a left-over behavior from the magazine culture days. Reality is, once you properly load whatever RSS reader you prefer, it's kinda hard to even figure out how to go back. It helps me consume all the information of the day quickly and with effectively no advertising or unneeded visual distraction and it syncs across all my devices, etc. I find the Reeder app itself to be incredibly elegant in it's subtle attention to detail and one-handed use. Real nerd stuff.
The beat is infectious, confident lyrics, full of substance (!), inspired by the medley from last week’s Strictly Come Dancing opening number as broadcast in the UK.
