THE fall album, I don’t make the rules. I think this record has some of the best lyrics ever written. I love and resonate with the perspective of someone who is electrified by love, but simultaneously cynical about how it all works out because they know the hurt it brings. I’ve always felt like an underdog or misunderstood, and I love the idea of owning that and leaning into it.
