There’s a Basquiat show at Gagosian right now, it‘s pretty late in its run- it closes on January 11th, but Basquiat is evergreen. There’s a Nina Childress exhibit of Dolly Parton paintings at Atrata- which may be interesting for a date. As a disclaimer: I am not French, nor really in the know on the French art world. these just seem like interesting shows for a date based on a quick look on Seesaw- which is a gallery app
Not a true rooftop but a great view of the city and a fantastic museum. I got to see an Art Spiegelman exhibition with a lot of the original drawings from Maus and the city beautifully wrapped in a soft fog.
another wonderful museum in philly which had some really interesting and unexpected curation, including religious, impressionist, and modern works, as well as masks, tools, and decor the museum also had a great exhibit on matisse & renoir showing until september 8
