Write every day. So no to other things in order to write. Share what you write on here and everywhere else. Publish on a blog or a Substack, share links to your work. Don't heed the feedback all that much—good or bad. You know what's in you. Work the muscle of putting it in front of people. Go to a public library and volunteer to start a writing workshop for an underserved group, like people facing homelessness. Write with them when they write.

there is something deeply cleansing about writing in the midst of a psychotic episode. ripping at the frayed seams of my brain feels generative. it is generative—something is created. tips if you are interested in trying this: 1. do not reread as you go. that is something called ruminating and it is not the same as writing. 2. learn to identify what can be rehabilitated and what should be gratefully acknowledged and then discarded. don’t force your thoughts to stand the test of time. 3. do not write within the horrors if it can be avoided. let them stay beside you. they can watch and listen as you reach for something more. 4. remember to eat periodically. 5. you don’t have to polish to a shine before sharing unless you want to. but know that you are not holding a masterpiece. that is fine. you are holding something, and it fits within your palms.

this has been taken from this instagram reel! this only works properly for people with middle names. if you dont have a middle name, i guess you wont have any green in your colour (sadly) 1st step: write your first, middle and last name, and allocate the letters to their number that they appear in the alphabet. for example, my name is isabella, so the numbers i'd have are i: 9 s: 19 a: 1 and so on… do this for all letters in your first, middle and last name! 2nd step: add them up! my first name adds up to 61 (all letters in isabella added up). do the same for your middle and last name, and you should be left with 3 different sets of numbers. 3rd step: times each number by 4. eg, 61 x 4 = 244. the numbers CANNOT go over 255, as thats the limit for each colour (RBG). if you have a number go over 255, you need to minus 256 until it is under 255. here are mine: 61 - 244 58 - 232 78 - 312 - 256 = 56 (here i have taken away 256 from 312, because it goes over the 255 limit, therefore making my last name as 56) 4th step: add your 3 codes into a hex code generator online! my hex code: #F4E838 you can add your hex code in this website to have a name assigned to your colour as well!

i like to go on walks and take pictures of nature and once i get back home i redraw the pictures i took. seriously, we should go in the backyard and make mud potions (maybe this was just my childhood where i did this lol). but remember, nothing is wrong with being bored.
