In Brittany's college apartment we made a lynchian horror film about notes falling from the ceiling. Our friend Mitch edited and directed it before he moved to Atlanta. You can never predict what you look back on and miss. At the time we felt like the community surrounding us was fading with the progression of our senior year of college. It felt like the end of the world. Now, we miss how lonely we were together. Not actually sure we were lonely at all.

you don’t need a reason to, just make something! if you’ve been sitting on a script forever and ever make it happen! and have fun doing it! love you.

I really love film and wanna break into that world one day, but for now I'm just starting with making scrappy stuff with friends. The whole thing sounded so intimidating, like what do you mean I have to give people a script and put a camera in front of their face and ask them to pretend to be someone else??? That takes a lot of vulnerability I think. Turns out it's so much fun and I need to start doing it more. This first silly video is in fact for a competition my university library is holding to make a promotional short for the libraries. Lowkey don't think we achieved the goal but I hope some student worker gets a laugh. Yeah so check it out it's only 60 seconds.

First question we ask is What's The Worst Thing You've Done To A Woman? Usually, some guy says he respected her too much. Then we say: Do You Believe In Karma? If they weren't hooked in before, now they are. In for the kill... Could I Get A Video Of You Meowing? Compilation video coming soon. - Brittany & Sameera

We miss chronological feeds. We miss forming community through internet friends and groupchats. We miss being fans and spending our lives obsessing over our faves. In an attempt to bring these things back to the surface, we're spending more time on open forums and less time with algorithms. So...... neocities blogs (brittany's here & sameera's here) and discord and perfectly imperfect. And more than anything, we're trying to spend time reminiscing about these days of early spirit and community. Maybe if we talk about it enough, it'll work its way back into existence. There's a reason why everyone misses it so much. - Brittany & Sameera
