this is a john carpenter movie that i don’t think gets much love! it‘s inspired by lovecraft without going full lovecraftian and sam neill goes crazy in it.

3/31: Brain damage (1988)

frank henenlotter’s movies are incredibly enjoyable but out his main three, i like this one the most. it’s really an experience you should go into blind so i’m not gonna say anything else.

4/31: Pacific Heights (1990)

there was a trend in the late 80s/early 90s of domestic thrillers with weird messaging, but this one is 100% worth watching for michael keaton being fun and diabolical.
