Might turn this into a book someday, but for now it's a ~50 page story--sort of a prequel/introduction to a fictional universe I'm writing about a "super-Earth" orbiting a distant star, and how we got there, and pirates. 🏴☠️
By Izumi Suzuki~ Short science fiction stories exploring questions of gender, the future, and the impermanence of life and our planet. Fatalistic in a way that makes u examine your own ways of being. Give it a read! “Like most people these days, I don’t overthink things. I’ll go along with whatever. No firm beliefs, no hang-ups. Just a lack of self-confidence tangled up in fatalistic resignation. Whatever the situation, nothing ever reaches me on an emotional level. Nothing’s important. Because I won’t let it be. I operate on mood alone. No regrets, no looking back.
Before me, the world stretches out flat, smooth and featureless. Gentle and inconstant.”
If you love art why not go a little deeper and go to an artist talk. They usually happen on Saturdays and are so insightful. I always learn something new and leave inspired. Definitely good for introverts as sometimes I get nervous to go to big art gallery openings that usually happen the night before.
I’ve been here twice and it will be my go to art store when I need something very specific. The last time I went there I got my self a new 4*6 notebook and oil pastels. Everyone there is nice and knowledgeable.
