last week i found a flower farm outside of town and went to pick flowers w/ a friend. $25 for a bouquet, but we probably took ~40 stems. i say good deal.

A month or so ago my beloved fianceé took me to a tulip farm. They had about 20+ different colors/varieties with crazy names like 'Snowboard' and 'Design Impression'. We got to pick out 10 flowers each and make our own bouquets. I love spending time with my love, being surrounded by flowers just makes it that much better.

This is an "I have money" activity to do when you don't actually have money. It did cost me $45, but that's okay. I just moved into a new apartment and I bought an awesome new vase and I thought, you know what I've never done! Gone to a florist! Conveniently, my new place is a few blocks away from one, so I went in and said "hi, here is my vase, make me something beautiful". Boy did they deliver! It is also just a really nice place to hangout in. You have to wait while they make it, obviously... but its like the most relaxing and best smelling waiting room you have ever been in.
