Baking a potato
It takes the perfect amount of time - around an hour and 20 mins at 400 - the perfect amount of time to completely forget you put a potato in the oven and then be so pleasantly surprised at your own foresight. yes, I do want to eat something right about now, and the me from an hour and 20 mins ago knew I would feel this way, and she made sure I would not starve. It is also just a great snack.

Gazpacho only in the late summer, persimmons only in the winter, etc. just because we can import anything from anywhere anytime doesnโ€™t mean we should. Nothing is special if you can have it whenever you want it.
