Not much of a podcast guy, but this one sounded too good: āthe true story behind the groundbreaking 1972 study āThe Limits to Growthā, and why the world ignored its message.ā
Basically, these researchers developed a computer model in 1972 that said unless significant changes to our daily lives were made, humans were going to overpopulate the planet and start seeing horrific resource scarcity within 30-40 years. They were ignored and called kooks, but likeā¦ look around you.
