11:20p snacktime for me. guava lifeway keifer (podcast advertised 2 me) ++++ salted ancient grain granola. Vaguely like a fancy restaurant dessert, yogurt aerated and long deflated topped w/ anonymous crumble (in a reused French yogurt pot). bright and crunchy and not viscous, no need to alternate between sweet and salty midnight munch. Eat up!!!
really guys do it. someone said to me, "salt makes everything more like itself". pretty sure they stole that from ina garten or someone like that but good on them for spreading the wisdom. i thank them. everytime i have yogurt now (french or bulgarian style) i sprinkle a lot of flaky salt on it. sprinkle somem walnuts and slice up a good peach. bing bang boom. if you wanna go to the next level, Ayran is a salted, fizzy yogurt drink from Turkey/Iran (depending on you ask). find a good middle eastern bakery and they might have it.
