If you gravitate towards warmer scents, start with vanilla as a foundation, but a specific vanilla variation (ex. Madagascar vanilla, vanilla absolute, etc) Then look for for complementing notes that are uniquely you for a nuanced yet personalized scent.

my go to scent combo year round, easy to mix and match a vanilla body oil or spray with a perfume that has a bit of a kick to it
no matter the season it is always my default guide I go back to when picking a fragrance combo

Smelling like a sugar cookie will make men and women treat you better. I don’t go anywhere without spritzing on some vanilla perfume (mixed with another, less expected fragrance). My favorite vanilla perfumes are: Laura Mercier Vanille, Solinotes Vanilla and I Profumi Di Firenze Vaniglia del Madagascar.

so i think if you like the idea of pastry-ish perfumes you should definitely go for a vanilla scent!! this is kind of niche but theres this company called ginger june candle co that sells a perfume oil called “vanilla oak” and it smells AMAZING. its about to be discontinued tho so get your hands on it asap!! however if you want a spray perfume, anthropologie sells a nice vanilla scent that comes in two sizes
another good option (more on the floral side, but still light and sweet) is la vie est belle from lancôme!! its absolutely HEAVENLY and def isn’t too dramatic for everyday use (+ the bottle is adorable)
