The first time we met to actually date was through tinder. I was in Sheffield playing a major festival š so he must have liked me while he was there playing the fringe of said festival. then we realised we had met before when weād both played a terrible gig in the pouring rain like 7 months earlier. Heād come up to me after Iād played and told me that one of my poems made him cry. Me, being not very good at tone and attempting witty banter, replied ādid it make you feel guilty?ā as the poem was about being a woman in music. he assumed I hated him and we didnāt speak again until we matched.

I was at a point where I was playing tinder like a game. I had a suggestive bio. I meticulously picked my photos to come off a certain way. Iād swipe right on so many people just because I was bored. And almost everyone would just send some shitty perverted pick up lines referencing my bio.

We met at a concert through a bunch of mutual friends and chatted for a while - we both had partners at the time so nothing came of it, but we matched on hinge a couple years later and he remember the exact conversation we had at the venue. We dated for a few months but it didnāt line up - we stayed friends and eventually were both single, doing everything together, and texting non-stop. He asked if I ever thought about us dating again and then I pretended to not be in love with him for about 3 months until I couldnāt take it anymore. Weāve been together for over a year now and heās my best friend in the world - I love him so much and feel so grateful for the universe continuously putting us back together.

This happened to a friend of a friend
Guy matched with a girl on tinder and saw her on the train. spent The whole train ride deciding whether or not he should mention it.
They get off at the same stop. Hes still deciding. After all, she hadnāt noticed him.
When they get off, they also happen to to head in the same direction. theyre taking the same exit. Jubilant from the piling coincidences, he says hi to her as they go through the standing turnstile.
She smiles. he tells her they matched on Tinder.
Then the turnstile jams. Theyāre stuck together for 20 minutes. The girlās smile turns to disgust. they never see each other again.

I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god. ALWAYS stop off at a church on the way if you think it might have good stained glass. The bluebells in the bottom right corner of this made me loose my breath for a moment.
