fleur de peau — contre-sens but mainly i love listening to 60s music, my favourite french musician from that time is sylvie vartan, others i would recommend are: christophe, françoise hardy, jacques dutronc, zouzou, francis lai, delphine desyeux, and france gall <3

my favorite ‘60s french pop singer. i found out about her at my high school job, but i didn’t become as much as a fan as i am now until college. i absolutely love this song. her music just makes everything feel so romantic and cinematic. also i am just enamored with the album artwork. the whole album is amazing, definitely worth the listen.
60s French pop is nice but the 80s are my favorite. It’s all very Loud, very Nat Geo, and much more inescapably French to me than sassy rock n roll covers. Standout tracks for me: Tu sais bien ce dont j’ai envie, Dans la peau, L’amour à la plage.
