issa rae is a genius. feels like i’m watching a version of my life on screen and the music is incredible, discovering a lot of new artists through it. don’t think there’s an hbo show i haven’t liked tbh
A random find one day that turned into one of my favorite tv shows of all time. It explores relationships, jobs and just becoming an adult and all the real life issues we encounter. Watching every few years I find something new to relate to that I didn’t on the previous watch.
my covid lockdown show, nothing compares to it (dialogue, acting, writing, directing), it's like cinema for your tv, and will hit especially if u have catholic guilt and/or are into dream sequences/psychoanalysis
