The students are always doing pop-ups and every semester the school has them develop their own menus to run campus restaurants. The food is full of passion, the prices are cheap, and the service is always filled with gratitude that you even showed up.
im talking the 50s style diners, the small breakfast place that is family owned, the restuant that has become a local chain and only exists in one state, the bar that one guy has continually owned since the beginning of time, the tiny soda bar that popped up nearby, the coffee shop run by an ex-convict donating money to charity in their small town. the stuff that you could get for cheaper at a fast food place but let's be honest the experience at one of these places is more human and more yummy all for it
it is way less difficult to do than you'd think
