I was really into animals and nature as a kid and would buy these books at walden books that had a really nice photo on the right page of a spread and on the opposite page it listed their habitat, diet, range etc. i was always fascinated as to what animals I could potentially see where i lived. later i did the same with birds after I was gifted Petersons Field Guides Birds of North America or whatever it is called. I also was into plants and flowers And mushrooms. I can still identify most trees, flowers, birds without looking them up. I also wanted to be a hockey player for awhile and played a lot when I was really young and then picked it back up in my early 20s. Then, I wanted to be a chef and would watch the food network every day as like a 10 year old kid. it is kind of cool bc i knew how to cook ever since then and didnt have to depend on other people. I also really liked to fish but i think part of it was being outdoors and flipping rocks to find crayfish and salamanders and hellgrammites and stuff like that. The other hobby that has been on and off throughout my life was art. This is really boring and I never wanted to be a writer so nobody has probably made it this far.

I have a tendency to get really into a hobby and spend a lot of money then lose interest and abandon the hobby. A lot of times I will pick the hobby up years later. Anyways, I like sketchbook painting, cooking, fishing/kayak fishing, birding, gardening. I think i just have a curious mind and like to learn a lot about a lot of different things.

I honestly don’t do much with my hands it’s sad and pod person like of me but I can type at 140 wpm. I USED to play viola, draw, paint and collage (see pictured, I got really into using rough-edged masking tape as an harsh accent at one point) and I would love to pick these things back up. I loved to do journals that were like a scrapbook where I would affix little mementoes and papers and things. Thinking about getting into gardening in alignment with my ancestral legacy… getting in touch with my roots one might say. I always enjoyed propagating potting and planting plants/seeds with my dad growing up.
