Quick read—experiential, compelling, and memorable. Retrofuturist sci fi soup for the existential soul. Was it my favorite book of all time? Hardly. But it moved me and it was a perfectly lovely way to spend an afternoon. Am curious now to see Last Year At Marienbad, for which it served as the inspiration, as well as various direct film adaptations.
