Apparently the Holiday's Least Boring Trend... from Japan! Except it's called theĀ Jimi festivalĀ (started in 2014) by a group of adults at Japanese lifestyle site Daily Portal Z. The idea is "we kind of wanted to participate in the festivities of Halloween, but were too embarrassed to go all out in witch or zombie costumes." Like "Someone who has spilled coffee all over himself" or "Shop attendant trying really hard to look away as you enter your PIN number." That'd be me!

I love Halloween, in fact it should be celebrated all year round. It’s so fun! you get to have an excuse to dress up as you favorite characters. Halloween parties are everything, bonus points if it’s a house party. It’s something so serious to me i will never be old for Halloween I don’t care I’ll be in my 80’s and would still dress up for Halloween. Dont even joke about the costumes lad!

there's something elevating and unifying when we get outside of ourselves with others, when we let our guard down, when we stop giving a damn about our dignity I suspect that most people want to let their hair down, want to let go of the uptight facade, want to move past the performance pressure to be perpetually cool But it's hard to be the first one to do it, so you've got to show people that it is fun and okay to do this Having a themed party seems like a great start Adding in some group activities, I don't know, just making this up right now, like a "funny walks contest" or bobbing for apples — I mean, I've never bobbed for apples, but what does bobbing for apples do: it gets you wet, awkward, looking silly, and that gets us to where we want to be: having unadulterated fun, memorably, together

The puffin is the latest addition to more than 180 known species—many of them sharks, corals, and other marine animals—that emit a luminous glow. The fact that so many marine animals biofluoresce "tells us organisms are using light in ways we don't even see,"Ā John Sparks, curator of fishes at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Python! Honestly very hard for me to get into - I have ZERO coding knowledge and nothing I could really latch onto - knowledge transfer is how I learn. But https://futurecoder.io/ is great (after lots of Redditing)

I read that happiness is when your expectations falls below the reality. A new mind project for April. Good prognosis.
