I just sat in a 77 degree office for hours because my manager didn’t know we could change the thermostat on our own. The guy who usually does it changes it from his phone, and he’s out of town. So despite us all being hot as fuck, my manager wanted to wait and ask our operations manager if/how we could change it 🙄 so you know what I did?? I *got up,* *examined the thermostat,* and changed it from HEAT to AUTO. LIKE AN ADULT.

Joy of all joys! I just love sending out an email to the top brass and the numbers being wrong. I checked everything else but clearly not well enough!!! Truly amazing way to start a Monday off…at least my big boss (my manger‘s manager) didn‘t yell at me like he would have the last guy 🫠

I'm at work currently and the guys working on the HVAC are so loud, I appreciate their loud convo because I love hearing background conversation. It's very comforting, makes the lab feel less cold. People are inherently warm and I love that very much.
