Chapter 5, Silences. A good read. In my opinion lol. But truly, I enjoyed this obsession so much. It was a surreal and beautiful experience to ponder the nature of silences. There is a plain text version of this conceptual piece of its too difficult to read :)
very beautifully written book, with imagery that entrances and epiphanies that trigger introspection. a little annoying how hetero-normative it is, and the stream of consciousness is difficult but rewarding.
Ling Ma made me enjoy reading again It is in the most surreal situations that a person feels the most present, the closest to reality. Themes include alienated women in bizarre circumstances, husbands speaking in $$$$, yeti lovemaking, immigration, ancient burial rituals, and so much more
