I've seen it referred to as 'American Psycho for hot girls' but American Psycho is American Psycho for hot girls. I really enjoyed the exploration of gender and power dynamics and thought the protagonist was interestting
'Boy parts', by Eliza Clark. It's like the female version of American Psycho though imo better.
Woman in media are rarely allowed to be grotesque and unhinged without coming off as performative.
I loved this book as it explored those topics in a very intriguing way, but fair warning it's pretty gruesome.
Corpo-speak playful and mean character study. American Psycho for businesswomen, aspiring businesswomen, admirers of businesswomen, reluctant mothers and gleefully childfree gawkers. Very very fun.
