i forget things easily when I’m working because everything is in constant motion. So I jot down little notes so I don’t forget what I need to do. I think this was from like a year ago? Most of my notes look like this (Wouldn’t be a Los note without the misspelled words too, if you follow me on here y’all know I misspell shit all the time).
My desk is cluttered with loose paper full of notes on books and articles and Wikipedia pages I read and half-read. writing down the things that stick with me helps me commit them to memory, and knowing things is nice, especially when the information isn’t particularly applicable in my every day life…
incoherent quotes, unknown phone numbers, market lists, coffee orders, notes just titled “cheetos” and “curtains,” draft letters to former bosses. it’s the little things!
Don’t be that person. Mf got a banana and a Celsius, something is going down and they need to make a quick exit. You got mad vegetables anyway, let the cashier breathe a little before they struggle to remember how to ring up them green onions you copping.
Nothing better than giving someone a little squeeze to show them you got them. It’s always great when someone can sense that you need it and add a little something to the hug. Don’t settle for a dap. Get in there.
I have no context at all but I love it. Feels like I’m missing out but that’s alright it’s just good to hear somebody having a big ol belly laugh and enjoying this shit while we’re breathing.
