never saw the first one, went in not expecting much. i was delightfully surprised! first half is kinda lame but definitely gets better in the second half. the scary scenes are good scary and good gory. funny when it needs to be. not really a creepy atmosphere that you want out of a horror movie. but like. a good friday night watch! three stars and a like on letterboxd. here's a selfie of me writing this rec.
It was cool. Very quiet film, sound design was amazing so it had that going for it. it has a very unsettling atmosphere, I hate when thereās a wide shot and you question whatās around the corner. Super effective throughout the whole film, there were moments when I wanted to leave because I canāt stand that shit, makes my skin crawl man. My girl also kept saying Longlegs was āservingā and that he was āthat girlā so that made the movie funnier. Good time. Donāt know if Iāll rewatch though.
