Casual: Braindead - if you’re into lots of color and wacky designs, this brand is for you. the size s tees fit me perfectly Extra Vitamins - lots of nature themes, very psychedelic, tees have a nice boxy fit. cool earth tone dyes Online Ceramics - wacky designs, absolutely kooky. does a lot of A24 merch Dressier: Carhartt WIP - super durable materials, classic silhouettes, cuts are a bit long so fits taller folks better. I get all my stuff tailored from them. Cav-Empt - like a combo of brain dead and carhartt. really cool fabrics and prints FAAANCY: Older Brother - cut and sew, natural dye, unconventional silhouettes, chunky fabrics, this brand got it all

a few of my favs

floating world, galya fae, ariel kellogg ~ all independent designers w unique offerings. i also like wolf circus for more basic jewelry, esp bc i wear silver and they have a lot of that. generally though if you’re looking for unique pieces, i’d check out etsy, as well as independent retailers in big cities. in chicago, i love everything store, ik nyc has cafe forgot, retail pharmacy, lucky jewel, and certainly a bunch more im not familiar with. also love apocene and apoc store. picture of floating world’s spira necklace which i covet

waiting it out

for all of my childhood and adolescence i was a very lonely and solitary child and i thought that that was all there was for me. yesterday i was surrounded by friends who came out to see me for my birthday and we drank and danced till we could barely walk. this is a life i never thought i’d have. there is always a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how weird and dark and long the tunnel is. wait it out. it really does get better.

i just stayed out till 4 in the morning at a party with incredibly pretentious people who didnt even ask me a single question about myself. all because i have a ridiculous fear of missing something. i could’ve gone home and smoked.
