at Librae Bakery (East Village). Everything they make is out of this world, but the simplicity of this flavor filled, perfect buttery layers creation has my heart. 🫶 (Tip: the line always moves pretty quick, but you can almost always avoid a line altogether on weekdays.)

Lava, Electric Burrito, gnocchi on 9th, court street grocers (on laguardia), gotham burger social club, street carts

admittedly a little downtown centric (but that’s where i am!) and some of these are a little $20 lunch vibes but thats life in the big city or wtv!! lava has a vegan arabic sandwich which is literally the greatest thing i’ve ever put in my mouth. also doing a different street cart everyday for a week is a worth lunchtime activity

If you’re within an hour walk from home, you should just walk home. I understand taking public transit or an Uber there to be on time, but you’re not rushing to get home. Thus, walk.
