saw him solo in february just him and a piano… i was AMAZED. the first few songs i thought were like obscure covers of successful musicians bc i think i underestimated his songwriting. i wish i recorded the whole thing i think about it every day
this kid is something else!!! i saw him perform solo at the stone circle and was mindblown by his beautiful songwriting. channeling sort of a post punk x rufus wainwright vibe here. can’t wait for the full solo album
i saw him perform a lot of these solo (just him and a piano) at a church in ridgewood in february. he was drinking straight vodka out of a waterbottle and it took me 3 songs to realize they were HIS songs and not covers of like brilliant songwriters of yore. this kid has the energy of having hot cheeto fingers and then pumps out the most beatiful and mature songwriting of his generation. i am so excited for him to change the world.
He just released an album called "Heavy Metal" that I think is the best thing I have heard all year. $0, Nausica, Love Takes Miles are all incredible tracks.
i am a journalist for a local zine & i get to host my first interview today, interviewing a local music venue/kava bar so insanely thrilled. adrenaline thru the roof. getting to learn about someone else, having a conversation with impressive people solely about them, being a listener. everyone should interview, even if it’s not for something published
i applied to move up in my job, to a salary position with my own office sort of move up . .
