took a chance on buying this CD that was extremely buried in a pile and also extremely cheap in a used record store and WOW it is fantastic. dark synthpop perfection. i didn’t know that caralee mcelroy (formerly of xiu xiu) worked on this record and i love xiu xiu to death so it was a very fortunate find lol
I KNEWW I wanted a Yankee Hotel Foxtrot album and I found this GEM @ Dyno Records, has my favorite songs (California Stars & Hesitating Beauty) back to back! I was so excite, worth every penny
when i listen to this album it feels like a portal is being unlocked inside,, my favourite track is vampire in the corner or love is everywhere! (a friend told me this was a very 'me' album, that means something coming from them)
Put on XTC, Microdisney, or Aztec Camera and SKIP out of your door this morning with a mf smile because life is lowkey beautiful and worth living, okay?!
