i said it was my song of the summer but it extended into my song of the year. she just gets it. i’m taking the energy of charm into 2025. i also just love when a single stands the test of time after the full album rollout.
charm as a whole has greatly impacted my summer months but this track has lived with me rent free since it dropped as a single at the end of may. relatable in the sense that it coincided with my seasonal summer blues and this year’s personal Summer of Figuring Things Out About Myself. i’ve grown up and come into my adulthood with many clairo tracks as a backdrop and charm girl summer was no different <3 (honorable mention to “favourite” by fontaines d.c, made me want to hold hands and frolick in a field of summer wildflowers ☺)
